Voice Lessons

Do you love to sing in the shower or along with that favorite tune on the car radio?  Have you always wondered what your voice could be like with proper training?  Maybe you have a child with a gift for music and you’re looking to explore the depth of their ability through lessons.  The perfect learning environment awaits you with Dance Magic Studio’s Music Program.  Vocal students sing all kinds of music from their favorite artists to classical arias. Our voice teachers specialize in vocal training and sing everything from pop and jazz to opera. Many of our teachers have performance backgrounds as well.

A sample of what a student will learn in singing lessons includes how to breathe properly, how to increase their range, proper pitch, how to project and stage presence. Our school offers performance opportunities through an annual music recital providing children and adults alike with an excellent platform to perform in front of a live audience.  Not interested in performing?  No problem!  Our recitals are optional and open to those interested.   Seven years old is recommended as the youngest age for private vocal lessons. Due to the physical nature of voice lessons (proper breathing techniques, development of the vocal chords and lung capacity), the younger body is generally not yet ready for the rigors of vocal technique. For children younger than 7, we offer a small group lesson environment that is designed to introduce children to musicality and explore their natural talents as a vocalist. Small group lessons will also teach a student how to use their voices properly, in a fun and relaxed environment.
