Make-Up Lessons

The Music Program of Dance Magic Studio strives to provide unmatched customer service and to provide our students and their families with the best value and overall experience possible.   We have come to understand that it is difficult to expect students to be present for every lesson. Life is busy and things come up for us all. To ensure you are provided with value and to remain committed to your overall experience with our school, we offer one hour long Performance & Workshop Music Masterclasses annually.

Besides being longer than a typical lesson, these group workshops provide many benefits with respect to the student’s overall music education.  In addition, a group class may be taught by a teacher other than the students normal teacher, so they are exposed to other teaching styles and perspectives that will expand their musical knowledge and outlook.  Group instruction is an integral part of music conservatories and music programs throughout the world.

Benefits of Group Lessons

Group Music instruction is an integral part of a music student’s overall music education.  It covers areas and performance opportunities that are not typically touched upon in one-on-one music instruction.   Some specific benefits of group lessons are as follows:

• Develops performance confidence and poise

• Exposes students to a wide-variety of repertoire

• Encourages the development of critical listening skills as students listen to other students’ perform and then provide comments following the performance
