Hi and welcome to an exciting year at Dance Magic Studio! Many of you are new to our studio and we hope you’ve heard great things from friends and neighbors. We are very excited to be kicking off the second year of Dance Magic Studio’s Music Program! We hope this newsletters is helpful to both our new and returning families. If you ever have any questions don’t hesitate to ask! We are here to help!
Holidays + Breaks Thanksgiving: October 10th Halloween: October 31st Fall Break: November 10th – 13th Christmas Break: Dec. 23rd – Jan. 8th Teachers Convention: Feb 9th – 12th Family Day: Feb 20th Spring Break: April 6th – 15th MAKE-UP LESSONS: No make-up lessons will be offered unless 24 hours of notice has been given to the office. Make-up lessons will be limited to 2 per teaching year. If you wish to sign up for a make-up lesson please let the ladies at the front desk know when you call to cancel your lesson. We have scheduled make-up lessons for the following days: Saturday January 29th + Saturday June 2nd. Please note: It is your responsibility to schedule a make-up lesson on one of these two dates.FEES
Payment via autowithdrawal or complete payment for the FULL SEASON WAS DUE with your registration. It is important that all fees are taken care of immediately in order to maintain for space in lessons.
NOTE: There is a $15.00 bank service charge for any returned cheques.
WATCHING WEEKS: Watch for the “NEXT WEEK IS WATCHING WEEK!” slip that will be sent home in your students practice folder – this means you will be invited in for the last 5 minutes of class the following week!

CHRISTMAST TREE STARS! Once again this year, Dance Magic, the Collicutt Centre and the Red Deer Food Bank will be putting together the beautiful Christmas Tree of Stars. Last year there was an overwhelming response and we were all so pleased with the amount of donations made to the food bank! Having said that, we will need your help again this year. During the first few weeks of November each student will be given a star to decorate and place on the 15 foot Christmas tree. The trees will be displayed at the front door of the Collicutt Centre and Dance Magic’s North Location. Let us know if you have some extra time and would like to help “cut” stars.
Communication
You will notice a bulletin board set up to the left when you come in the studio. This board will have important dates and reminders, deadlines, new classes, etc. Please have a look each day before class so you are able to keep up to date with what ‘s happening in the studio.
WOW! – What a lot of reminders and information. Hopefully this gives you the “what’s happening” and “what to expect” at our Studio. We are incredibly excited to share our love of music with all of you, and look forward to meeting and getting to know our new musicians over the months ahead.
